Frederick Nohmer
Frederick Nohmer, formerly vice president of operations at IAP Worldwide Services‘ global support services division, has been named chief operating officer of Janus Global Operations.
JGO said Thursday Nohmer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the logistics and stability services contractor’s projects in approximately 20 countries.
He held numerous leadership roles at IAP such as program manager to the vice president of U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, federal and contingency operations; vice president of Navy and Marine Corps programs; and global services director.
The U.S. Army veteran served in tactical assignments overseas and worked for the Joint Chiefs of Staff at NATO headquarters.
Richard Gross
Richard Gross, a former partner at law firm FH&H, will serve as general counsel of JGO.
Gross is a retired Army brigadier general who previously advised the Joint Staff chairman on legal aspects of military and national security operations.
He was also chief legal counsel for various senior military leaders such as commanders of the U.S. Central Command, U.S. Forces-Afghanistan, NATO’s International Security Assistance Force and the Joint Special Operations Command.
