Janet Hanofee, a two-decade human resources professional, has been appointed chief HR officer at Fairfax, Virginia-based information technology services provider ITC Federal.
She will be responsible for driving ITC’s corporate strategy for HR functions and building an employee-centric workforce in her new capacity, the company said Monday.
Hanofee most recently served as chief people officer at artificial intelligence software developer Torch.AI and currently serves on the Human Resources Certification Institute’s board of directors.
Her industry experience also includes HR leadership roles at SOS International, Chenega Corp., CH2M Hill and Tatitlek.
The Alaska Journal of Commerce featured Hanofee on the publication’s list of top professionals who are under age 40 and working in the region.
