James Koch , president of federal programs and services at Michael Baker International since late 2021, has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer .
The retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel will supervise the heads of Michael Baker’s consulting and technology, infrastructure, design-build and federal market areas, the company said Monday.
Koch spent two decades of his 40-year career in military service. His assignments included work as commander of a battalion and joint task force in Central America and director of the Army Engineer School’s Department of Tactics, Leadership and Engineering.
