James DeVaul, formerly a federal advisory partner at KPMG, has been appointed director of federal business at information technology services provider Bulletproof.
The nearly 30-year federal market veteran will support Bulletproof’s growth efforts within the sector, the GLI company said Thursday.
While at KPMG, DeVaul helped craft the firm’s cybersecurity strategy for federal clients and oversaw various functions such as compliance and reporting audits, security risk assessments and penetration studies.
Steven Burns, president and chief operating officer of Bulletproof, noted that DeVaul “has developed strong relationships with many key members of government” and the company has increased its focus on security offerings for agencies over the past few years.
Bulletproof is headquartered in New Brunswick, Canada, and a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association.
