James Cartwright
James Hoss Cartwright, a retired U.S. Marine Corps general, has been named to the board of advisers of Washington, D.C.-based customized spectrum and engineering platforms provider Expression Networks.
General Cartwright understands the challenges facing our country and the need to develop innovative technologies that can be widely implemented across the military, Abir Ray, founder of Expression Networks, said in a statement published Wednesday.
Cartwright joined the Marine Corps in 1971. His four-decade career in service included time as vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and commander of U.S. Strategic Command.
He said he looks forward to helping the company as it continues to address some of the national security concerns facing the country.
Expression Networks is backed by private investment firm Enlightenment Capital and provides electromagnetic spectrum management platforms, information technology, data analytics, software engineering, automation and visualization technologies to federal agencies and national security clients.
