Arko is responsible for managing corporate administrative functions within TAPE’s portfolio of training and readiness, technology and knowledge-based services, the woman-owned small business said.
His areas of responsibility cover contract and subcontract management, information technology, security, accounting and human resources.
He will additionally provide advice to TAPE President and CEO Louisa Long Jaffe on quality assurance matters, support the company’s proposal development and growth planning efforts and act as Jaffe’s proxy, if needed.
Arko previously managed large contracts during his time at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) and KPMG.
Jaffe described the newly appointed TAPE COO “an innovator who cultivates emerging technology in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and other areas.”
