Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) will provide cybersecurity and other information technology support services to the U.S. Transportation Command and the U.S. Army‘s Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command under a potential $89 million contract.
The company said Tuesday the TCJ6 Information Technology Service Management Enterprise Support contract covers network operations and maintenance, IT planning, software management, systems integration, procurement, hardware repairs, device support and associated IT services.
The prime contract runs through four and a half years and includes a six-month base period and four one-year options.
Terry Hagen, president of aerospace and technology at Jacobs, said the award continues the company’s long-term IT support for the Defense Department.
Transcom made the initial announcement of the contract award in March.
