Mary Gendron
Qualcomm (Nasdaq: QCOM) has appointed Mary Gendron to lead the company’s global information technology operations as its senior vice president and chief information officer.
Gendron will report directly to George Davis, Qualcomm executive vice president and chief financial officer, the mobile technology services provider said Mar. 17.
“Mary has a proven track record of partnering with businesses to understand their needs while driving major projects to improve operational efficiency, ” Davis said.
“Her IT experience and leadership brings new opportunities to continue excelling in our IT organization.”
Gendron joins Qualcomm from Hospira where she held SVP and CIO roles that put her in charge of the pharmaceutical company’s global IT strategy.
The 25-year IT veteran also served in various IT leadership positions at Celestica International, The Nielsen Company, Motorola and Bell Canada.
