Vencore on Wednesday filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering to raise as much as $250 million.
Chantilly, Virginia-based Vencore is led by Mac Curtis and provides cybersecurity, data management and systems support to U.S. federal civilian, intelligence and defense agencies.
Curtis, an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2017, has served as president and CEO at the Veritas Capital-owned government IT contractor since July 2013.
The company posted sales of $1.17 billion during 2016 and $285 million in the first quarter of 2017.
Vencore will list its stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “VNCR.”
