Elkins is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in business strategy, operations and large-scale transitions across the Department of State, Department of Defense and other federal agencies. He has a proven track record of driving profit and loss growth through innovative systems and software, organic expansion and disciplined cost management.
The executive joins Iron Mountain after serving as a strategy, growth and capture executive at SAIC. Before that, he spent over six years as VP of operations and program manager at CACI International, where he led the launch and execution of the $5.7 billion Air Force enterprise IT-as-a-service Wave 1 program while managing a diverse portfolio of BITS programs for multiple DOD customers.
Elkins served as the senior director of programs at CSRA, handling the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and Defense Intelligence Agency portfolios. The new Iron Mountain VP also worked for over 13 years at Northrop Grumman, where he held various leadership roles, including director of data center transition and strategy, account director, director of data center transformation and department manager.
