TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 6, 2018 ” Iridium Communications (Nasdaq: IRDM) has set the launch of a fifth batch of Iridium NEXT satellites on March 29 aboard a SpaceXFalcon 9 rocket, ExecutiveBiz reported.
Iridium said it will launch five satellites and scientific instruments for the U.S. and Germany as a continuation of its schedule to have the NEXT constellation launched by batch every five to six weeks, according to Matt Desch, CEO of Iridium and a 2018 Wash100 inductee.
