TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 15, 2021 — Iridium Communications (Nasdaq: IRDM) has launched a midband satellite service capable of supporting telemetry reporting, media sharing and other activities of government, maritime, land mobile and aviation customers, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
“Our new Iridium Certus 100 midband service is designed for applications that are agile, remote, and need more throughput than our traditional narrowband offerings, but don’t demand the speeds or larger, heavier antennas used in our popular Iridium Certus broadband solutions,” said Matt Desch, CEO of Iridium and previous Wash100 Award recipient.
