TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 4, 2017 Iridium Communications (Nasdaq: IRDM) CEO Matt Desch has previewed the company’s new Certus multi-service communications platform that will work to provide cockpit and operational services aboard aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
Avionics Magazine reported July 28 that Desch, an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017, has said in an earnings call that hardware suppliers like Cobham and Thales have begun the rollout of Certus-connected terminals as Iridium explores the aviation connectivity market with the new technology.
