TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 10, 2017 Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) plans to allot more than $7 billion toward the development of a semiconductor factory in Chandler, Arizona, that could generate approximately 10,000 jobs in the region, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The company said Wednesday the future Fab 42 facility will utilize the 7-nanometer semiconductor manufacturing process to produce microprocessors that will serve to power data centers and connected devices.
