TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 6, 2016 ” Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) has received a certificate of waiver from the Federal Aviation Administration that allows the company to operate up to 1, 000 small unmanned aircraft systems at night within special security notice flight restricted areas, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The company said Thursday the Part 107 waiver is an extension of the Section 333 exemption it previously received to fly 100 small UAS for its Drone 100 light show in California.
