TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 3, 2018 Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch, senior vice president of government strategy and policy for Inmarsat Government, has urged the administration to support appropriations focused on an integrated satellite communications infrastructure that utilizes commercial technologies in line with national security goals, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
Cowen-Hirsch wrote in a Via Satellite guest piece published June 26 that the sector needs “strong leadership” to provide fiscal 2019 funding for advanced architecture that both the government and commercial satellite industry are working on in order to leverage comsatcom capabilities and identify gaps.
