TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 27, 2017 Inmarsat will work to advance the use of digital technologies in the shipping industry through the launch of a new office at the Norwegian Maritime Competence Center in Alesund, Norway, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Wednesday it seeks to increase collaboration with third-party innovators and digital disrupters on the Fleet Xpress broadband maritime communications platform through the new facility located within the Norwegian University of Science and Technology campus.
