TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 30, 2017 Inmarsat will collaborate with the U.S. Agency for International Development to drive the adoption of sustainable fishing practices in Southeast Asia and support maritime communications for port and vessel monitoring activities, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The company said Friday it will provide its Fleet One and IsatData Pro satellite communications platforms to facilitate two-way messaging for maritime users and advance catch documentation and traceability as part of the USAID Oceans and Fisheries Partnership’s efforts to ensure legal, reported and regulated fishing.
