DCS subsidiary Infoscitex has promoted Mike Gilkey from vice president and division manager of air and space operations, to executive VP and manager of the entire sector.
The company said Thursday that Gilkey will be responsible for its human systems and modeling, simulation and analysis divisions, as well as the sensors and intelligence department.
He started in IST in 2010 as a subject matter expert, specializing in the Air Force Research Laboratory Sensors Directorate’s airborne sensors exploitation and combat identification technology.
When he became VP and division manager in 2017, he managed approximately 220 employees who conducted research, analysis, modeling and simulation, and software development for the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, among other clients.
“Mike has been an incredible driver of IST’s growth and success for more than a decade,” DCS CEO Jim Benbow remarked. “We are thrilled to have him continue to advance the technology and momentum of IST into the future.”
