TYSONS CORNER, VA, February 13, 2019 Randy James, senior vice president and general manager for the enterprise cybersecurity and resilience division at ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI), has said collaboration between leaders across defense, intelligence, national security and government agencies is key to advance coordinated mission assurance, ExecutiveBiz reported Feb. 5.
James wrote in an opinion piece published Feb. 4 that the new security environment calls for mission assurance plans that are geared toward interoperability, with the goal to facilitate awareness, preparedness and resilience amid threats from state and non-state actors.
“[The] Defense Department, in partnership with agencies spanning Americas public sector, need to intensify their efforts to evolve and adapt efforts to ensure mission assurance persists,” he said.
