The Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement plans to launch a competition for a follow-on contract to continue providing development and implementation support for the Investigative Case Management system.
According to a notice published Monday on the Acquisition Planning Forecast System, ICE expects the recompete contract to be worth over $100 million and anticipates release of a solicitation by May 15, 2025.
Agents and personnel at ICE Homeland Security Investigations use the ICM system as a law enforcement case management tool.
HSI performs transnational criminal investigations to protect the U.S. against national security threats and bring to justice individuals that seek to exploit the country’s customs and immigration laws.
According to APFS, the proposed contract includes project management, integration, software, data management and integration support for the cloud-based law enforcement technology.
Palantir Technologies (NYSE: PLTR) is the incumbent contractor. In September 2022, the company secured a $96 million contract from DHS to continue providing ICM software support for HSI.
Work will be performed in Washington, D.C., with an expected completion date of Sept. 29, 2030.
The department expects to award the contract by the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025.
