Michelle Rudnicki, a two-decade industry veteran, has joined NetApp (Nasdaq: NTAP) as vice president of the cloud data services provider's U.S. public sector business.
Rick Scurfield, head of NetApp's global verticals and pathways go-to-market organization, said in a blog post published Friday Rudnicki will manage business, operational, financial and strategic functions related to the company's government channels and customers.
Rudnicki will also lead the implementation of market strategies as part of her responsibilities.
She previously served as public sector VP at McLean, Va.-based cloud management software company Virtustream with responsibility over financial matters as well as the delivery of cloud service offerings to the public sector.
Prior to joining Virtustream in 2017, she spent more than 16 years at IBM (NYSE: IBM) where she oversaw federal and public sector-focused digital services in the cloud, mobile, data analytics and cognitive computing areas.
