Julie Xiang, former federal sales manager at IBM(NYSE: IBM), has been named vice president of sales at cybersecurity and information technology services provider Merlin International.
Merlin said Monday she has more than 16 years of IT sales and sales management experience with a primary focus on the government healthcare market.
Xiang said she aims to apply her healthcare IT market experience to help grow Merlin’s presence in the government and commercial sectors.
She previously led a sales team that offers IBM’s information management products to federal civilian agencies as well as served as a software client leader and a federal account executive for the firm’s business analytics offerings.
Before IBM, she worked as a senior sales consultant at Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) and senior technical sales consultant at Datatel.
