TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 13, 2017 IBM‘s (NYSE: IBM) Watson Health unit has entered into a research initiative with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in an effort to explore blockchain technology application for health data, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The company said Wednesday it will work with the agency to study oncology-related data and the secure exchange of owner-mediated information from electronic medical records, clinical trials and mobile devices, wearables and the Internet of Things.
