TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 12, 2018 IBM (NYSE: IBM) has designed a computer system for an Energy Department-backed national laboratory in Tennessee to support research in areas such as artificial intelligence, advanced materials and energy, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
DOE said Friday the recently unveiled Summit supercomputer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory features approximately 200 petaflops of computing power and works to perform up to 200,000 trillion calculations per second.
