Chantilly, Va.-based technology services contractor Integrity Applications Inc.has acquired Falls Church, Va.-based Dependable Global Solutions for an undisclosed sum in a push to grow federal customer base across the cybersecurity and counterintelligence markets.
Arlington Capital said TuesdayDGS Chief Strategy Officer Joel Griffin and Chief Operating Officer Travis Hyde will join IAI as vice presidents as part of the agreement.
DGS works with defense and intelligence community clients to help them develop, manage and update platforms designed to counter cyber threats and attacks.
Dave Dzaran, IAI president and CEO, said the company will now consist of 1,100 employees with technical experience in the cybersecurity, intelligence, missile defense and space areas.
Ben Ramundo, a senior associate of Arlington Capital, said DGS aims to help the national security community address various challenges such as the theft of intellectual property from top government research facilities.
