TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 8, 2018 A Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) business unit has awarded grants totaling $101,000 to education institutions in Alabama and Mississippi to support 26 projects in science, technology, engineering and math, GovCon Executive reported Wednesday.
The company said TuesdayIngalls Shipbuilding provided the funds as part of its ongoing STEM initiative, which has granted an estimated $911,000 to relevant projects over 10 years.
