Steve Bloom
QTS Realty Trust (NYSE: QTS) has appointed Steve Bloom, formerly senior vice president and chief human resource officer for ProBuild, as the new QTS chief people officer.
Bloom has provided organizational management, strategy development and talent management in industries such as technology, healthcare, consumer products and financial services for more than 25 years, QTS said Thursday.
“Steve is a recognized leader with a passion for enabling people in the workplace, ” said Chad Williams, QTS chairman and CEO.
“He is both an accomplished corporate executive and a thought leader who we believe can build on our Powered by People mission.”
Bloom has worked with PepsiCo(NYSE: PEP), Citibank (NYSE: C) and Medco and has handled large-scale mergers and acquisitions, change management and business process re-engineering initiatives.
He has also collaborated with a professor from Notre Dame University’s Mendoza School of Business on a behavioral study that sought to understand factors in the motivation and well-being of employees.
