TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 4, 2017 Earl Matthews, a vice president at Hewlett Packard Enterprise(NYSE: HPE), has stated government organizations should take steps to employ a cyber situational awareness model to support cybersecurity collaboration, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The model should incorporate analytics and enable dissemination of cyber threat findings across an organization and its external partners, Matthews wrote in a blog post published Sunday.
“Resourcing cybersecurity and cyber SA becomes a matter of sound risk management decisions based on threats and vulnerabilities to data, applications, systems and networks that have the highest likelihood of impacting mission assurance, ” he said.
