TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 22, 2018 ” Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) will supply supercomputers to the U.S. Navy and Air Force Research Laboratory as well as provide on-site system administration and applications support under two contracts that total $57 million, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday the contracts are part of the Defense Department‘s High Performance Computing Modernization Program and cover the delivery of four HPE SGI 8600 computers to AFRL™s DoD Supercomputing Resource Center and three to the Navy DSRC.
