According to an award notice published Tuesday, Hensel Phelps will work with Jones Studio and Stantec on the New Douglas Commercial Land Port of Entry project.
In a solicitation issued in January, GSA said the project is funded under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act and includes the construction of a main building, commercial primary inspection lanes, a vehicle exit booth, a firearms simulation building and a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration facility.
The contract’s scope of work includes all management, labor, supervision, equipment and materials needed to provide design and construction support services for the project.
In July, the company secured a $174 million contract from GSA to support the expansion and modernization of the Calexico West Land Port of Entry in California.
