Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) has appointed nearly 11-year company veteran Heidi Kobylski as general manager of its federal civilian group, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Monday.
Kobylski is responsible for a team of technical and sales professionals who provide support services to federal government customers.
She first joined the Redmond, Washington-based technology firm in 2010 as a major account manager for its enterprise commercial business and later held senior roles within the federal unit.
Prior to Microsoft, she spent six years at Verizon as global account manager for the state and local government and financial services sectors.
