Dennis Moran, formerly vice president of Defense Department business development at Harris (NYSE: HRS) global business development unit, has joined Annapolis, Maryland-based federal management consulting firmDeep Water Pointas a DoD subject matter expert.
The retired U.S. Army major general will be part of Deep Water Point’s defense team that aims to help clients determine opportunities and address challenges in the DoD environment, the company said Monday.
Howard Seeger, managing partner of Deep Water Point, said Moran has over 31 years of DoD program management experience.
His knowledge of this market is unparalleled, working directly to deliver a number of key information technology initiatives while in active duty and during his roles in industry, Seeger added.
Moran held other senior leadership roles at Harris such as VP of government business development within the firms communications systems segment and senior executive account manager.
Prior to Harris, he spent more than three decades in the Army and served on the Joint Staff as vice director for command, control, communications and computers.
