TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 10, 2016 Harris Corp. (NYSE: HRS) will provide additional satellite communications terminals to the U.S. Army under new orders worth $41 million, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The company said Thursday the orders are part of the Army’s Modernization of Enterprise Terminals program and the terminals will serve as “backbone” to the service branch’s military communications and missile defense infrastructure.
Ed Zoiss, president of Harris’ electronic systems business, said the multiband terminals work to address the communications and situational awareness requirements of military personnel.
