TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 31, 2017 — Harris (NYSE: HRS) has partnered with exactEarth to add five new automatic identification system satellites to the latter’s constellation that will work to support real-time ship tracking operations, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The additional satellites will bring the AIS constellation to nine units in service as the team aims to deliver advanced asset-tracking capabilities to the maritime industry, exactEarth said Tuesday.
