Hank Tucker Assumes Mission Systems VP Role at Lockheed Missiles & Fire Control Segment

Hank Tucker, a nearly 13-year Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) veteran, has started a new role as vice president for mission systems at the company’s missiles and fire control business.

He announced his new post Monday on LinkedIn and will also hold the sensors and global sustainment deputy title.

“I will be responsible for strategy and execution oversight of existing programs and future innovative capabilities across the S&GS Mission Systems portfolio,” Tucker wrote.

Tucker came to Lockheed in November 2010 after service at the State Department spanning almost a decade, which included roles as program director for political-military relations in South Asia, chief political-military adviser of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, and deputy office director of the Pakistan Desk.

In 2001, the State delegated Tucker to the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee as a presidential management fellow.
