Small businesses have until June 14 to submit proposals for a potential five-year, $125 million contract vehicle for general construction services within the General Services Administration’s Mid-Atlantic Region 3, according to a solicitation notice posted on SAM.gov.
GSA said its Public Building Service is seeking companies to lead design-bid-build or design-build services to carry out commercial office construction, renovation or repair work, hazardous materials abatement, site work and other activities.
The federal government owns 90 buildings and leases 640 facilities throughout Mid-Atlantic Region 3, according to GSA.
The agency plans to award up to 16 spots on the acquisition vehicle after a competition reserved for Small Business Administration 8(a) program participants and women-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned and HubZone businesses.
