GSA Seeks to Complete Vendor Authorizations for EIS Telecom Vehicle by Year’s End

    The General Services Administration could grant Granite Telecommunications and MetTel authorities to operate on the 15-year, $50B Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract by the end of the year, FCW reported Wednesday.

    Nine vendors hold spots on the governmentwide acquisition vehicle for telecommunication offerings and seven of the EIS contract holders received ATO certifications so far.

    The authorized companies are AT&T (NYSE: T), BT Federal, CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL), Core Technologies, L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX), MicroTech and Verizon (NYSE: VZ).

    GSA required the companies to obtain authorizations to provide information technology services to customers through the EIS contract.
