The General Services Administration has released updated Sections L and M covering proposal submission instructions and evaluation criteria of a draft request for proposals for the Polaris governmentwide acquisition contract for small information technology businesses.
GSA said Friday the changes made to Sections L and M of the draft Polaris RFP were based on feedback and industry discussions.
The modifications to the updated solicitation include revisions to clarify proposal requirements; reduction to the number of potential relevant experience project submissions; inclusion of a pool for service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses; and reduction of the minimum dollar thresholds for relevant experience.
GSA called on interested stakeholders to submit feedback on the revised sections using the provided response template.
Responses are due Oct. 15.
In December, GSA released the draft solicitation for Polaris and announced that the contract will be divided into three pools: small business, HUBZone and women-owned small business pools.
