The General Services Administration has released a draft request for proposals for the Polaris governmentwide acquisition contract for use by federal agencies to buy information technology platforms and services from small businesses.
A notice posted Thursday on the beta SAM website says the Polaris GWAC is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-delivery contract with three pools based on socioeconomic status and size: small business, HUBZone and women-owned small business pools.
The master contract has no maximum dollar ceiling but has a minimum contract guarantee of $2,500. It will provide IT services based on the Technology Business Management framework, which enables agencies to classify IT spending into finance, IT and business perspectives.
Polaris covers IT support services across emerging technology areas, including artificial intelligence, advanced and quantum computing, automation technology, edge computing, distributed ledger technology, cloud, data management, cybersecurity and information and communications technologies.
GSA will accept feedback on the draft solicitation through Jan. 29.
