Greg Hanson, a former general manager at NCI Information Systems, has joined Zantech IT Services as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
He will succeed Allan Foy, who will retire as COO but remain with Zantech as a senior adviser, the company said Jan. 5.
“We are excited to have Greg join the company and to apply his leadership, business expertise and industry knowledge to guide Zantech as we enter the next phase of the company’s growth, ” said CEO Zia Islam.
Zantech is a small business that provides information technology and professional services.
Hanson brings more than three decades of experience in the federal defense and civilian sectors to the company.
He most recently served as president of Excellence in Business, a consulting firm that provides business strategy, planning, business capture and development and market analysis support.
He has also held other leadership roles, including as COO of Criterion Systems, chief information officer for the U.S. Senate, chief technology officer at Unitech and Telos and chief software engineer at the U.S. Air Force headquarters.
