Govt Tech Sales Vet Ted Girard Appointed Snowflake Public Sector VP

Ted Girard, former vice president of Okta's public sector unit, has taken a similar position at cloud data warehousing technology provider Snowflake, G2Xchange ETC reported Wednesday.

He brings 24 years of technology sales experience in the federal civilian and defense sectors to his new role.

His industry career has included sales leadership posts at BMC Software, Brocade, Delphix, BladeLogic and Tektronix.

He earned a bachelor's degree in economic from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and an MBA from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.
