Zito will oversee growth initiatives within Sev1Tech’s federal civilian business segment and lead the development of offerings intended to help customers address missions, the company said Tuesday.
His government civilian work includes senior executive roles at the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Congress and the U.S. Army for more than 17 years.
Most recently, he served as assistant administrator for FEMA’s National Continuity Programs Directorate and led educational, continuity planning and exercise programs in that capacity.
The 23-year Army veteran worked as deputy chief of staff and chief of staff to three U.S. House members after his retirement from the military.
