A GovCIO subsidiary has won a $99.2 million contract with a five-year ordering period to engineer the U.S. Navy’s fixed broadcast system for submarines.
The service branch awarded the performance-based, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to Salient CRGT after a full and open competition, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Two offerors competed for the work through an acquisition process on the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command e-Commerce Central portal and the SAM website.
The Navy will obligate $25,000 at the time of award using its operation and maintenance funds for fiscal 2023.
Salient CRGT will perform contract services in Virginia, Texas, South Carolina, California and Oklahoma.
GovernmentCIO rebranded to GovCIO upon the acquisition of Salient CRGT in August 2021.
