Goldbelt Security Awarded $125M DoD Contract to Support Potential US Vaccination Campaign

Goldbelt Security has secured a $125M Department of Defense contract to supply 530M syringes and safety needles to the Strategic National Stockpile as part of the government's coronavirus vaccination strategy.

The award, funded by Cares Act, falls under a partnership between the DoD's Joint Acquisition Task Force and the Department of Health and Human Services, the Pentagon said Friday.

The company is scheduled to deliver the items through Dec. 31.

DoD awarded a separate $104M contract last month to medical product vendors for the delivery of 500M needles and syringes.

An Alaska Native Corp. subsidiary, Goldbelt Security offers a suite of services and training programs meant to help customers procure equipment.
