Marcus Collier, former senior vice president of health and civilian solutions at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology arm, has joined Conduent (NYSE: CNDT) as CEO of its government unit.
He has more than 35 years of technology experience that has included work with agencies at the federal, state and local levels, Conduent said Tuesday.
Conduent CEO Ashok Vemuri said that Collier will aim to grow the company’s portfolio and drive growth initiatives across the public sector market.
At GDIT, Collier led the unit’s strategic, growth, operational and organizational development efforts aimed to help grow the organization into a $2 billion business.
Conduent is a business process services provider spun out of Xerox (NYSE: XRX) last year.
