General Dynamics Unit Wins $95M Contract to Help Regulate Army Medical Research

General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business has won a 10-year, $95 million contract to provide consulting and oversight for regulatory processes at U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command.

The company will also provide contract research support to the under the hybrid contract, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

The Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity awarded the firm-fixed-price and time-and-materials contract after an online solicitation process with three bids received and will determine locations and funds upon issuance of each order.

DOD says the estimated completion date for this work is March 30, 2031.

USAMRAA is located at Fort Detrick in Maryland, and provides contracting services to the USAMRDC and the command’s global network of laboratories and medical logistics organizations.
