TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 17, 2017 A General Dynamics subsidiary (NYSE: GD) will continue to provide shipyard services in support of the U.S. Navy‘s nuclear-powered submarines and moored training ships under a $28.6 million exercised contract option, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The Defense Departmentsaid FridayGeneral Dynamics Electric Boat will procure or manufacture materials and supplies, as well as support yard functions at locations in Groton, Connecticut, and Charleston, South Carolina, through September 2018.
