General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has received a potential five-year, $93 million foreign military sales contract from the U.S. Army to provide 120mm insensitive munition high-explosives along with tracer tank ammunition cartridges to Iraq.
The Defense Departmentsaid Friday the Army Contracting Command received one bid for the firm-fixed-price contract and will determine work locations and funds with each order.
IM HE-T High Explosive Cartridges offer infantry support capacities for armor forces and support tanks’ main gun ammunition with full bore HE warheads designed to eliminate bunkers, fortifications, light armor and personnel.
General Dynamics’ ordnance and tactical systems business will perform contract work through Oct. 26, 2022.
