General Dynamics to Maintain Army Stryker Vehicles Under $428M Contract

General Dynamics' (NYSE: GD) land systems unit has won a potential five-year, $428.2M contract to perform field-level maintenance work on the U.S. Army's Stryker combat vehicles.

The GDLS business will also provide equipment training, contingency maintenance and fielding services under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Army Contracting Command received two bids via the internet and will determine funds and performance locations with each order. DoD estimates that contract work will be complete by July 31, 2025.

The Stryker vehicle, which has 18 variants, is designed to travel 330 miles at a speed of up to 60 miles per hour and equipped with a 30-millimeter cannon, according to the military branch.
